At Mr. Mike's Doghouse your pets are our priority.  We're a full service pet care company helping you with your pet care needs in Burlington & Waterdown, Ontario.

We're passionate and professional animal caregivers with over 20 years of animal care experience and we're PET FIRST AID and CPR certified

by St. John Ambulance.

 

Pet owners can expect peace of mind when their pets are in our care and when we are in their homes.  We're fully insured and undertake background checks completed yearly by the Halton Regional Police Service.

We'll treat your pets like they're part of our family because your best friend deserves the best care.

DOG WALKING

Private 1-on-1 walks for your V.I.P. (very important pup) in your neighborhood.  Each walk includes training reinforcement, a text or emailed 'pupdate' including photo and plenty of TLC.

REGULAR - 30 mins $29.99

EXTENDED - 45 min: $39.99

FULL - 1 hour: $49.99

Additional dog $10

 

Holiday rate additional 50% of initial service rate

DROP IN VISITS

Perfect for dogs or cats who are happiest in their own environment or puppies and senior dogs. We'll visit your home ensuring your pet has a potty break or play time and feed and water as needed.

RELIEF - 15 min: $24.99

REGULAR - 30 min: $29.99

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do I sign up for services?
    Please send us an email at info@mrmikesdoghouse.com or call us at (905) 401-3021 and we’ll be happy to set up your FREE consultation.
  • When are you available?
    Our services are available 365 days a year with the exception of major weather events and unforeseen emergency situations. There is an additional 50% charge for service on provincial, federal or civic holidays.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
    If you are an existing client you can schedule an appointment by emailing us at info@mrmikesdoghouse.com You can also text your appointment request to (905) 401-3021. If you are a new customer, you can email us or give us a call to set up a free consultation.
  • What time will you be arriving to take care of my pet?
    We provide you with 3 hours service windows for your requests. We schedule accordingly within the time block for your pet’s needs. Due to the nature of the schedule and occasional circumstances we are unable to be at your house at an exact time every visit, however the time window allows for us to schedule accordingly and have consistency! Time's availble are: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • How will you enter my home?
    We will use either a garage code, keys stored in a lockbox on site at your home or through a keyless entry system. For lockboxes, we recommend the Master Lock 5400d which is available from us for a rental fee of $5 per month
  • How will I know my pet was cared for?
    After each visit we’ll email or text you a report on your pet’s care with photos.
  • Do staff undergo any sort of background or police check?
    Yes, all dog walkers undergo a police background check YEARLY completed by the Halton Regional Police Service.
  • What happens if there is bad weather?
    We walk dogs and complete other pet visits regardless of the weather. In the case of extreme weather such as a blizzard, getting to your location may be delayed or canceled due to road conditions.
  • What is your cancelation and refund policies?
    For drop-in visits, walks and pet taxi appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a full charge with the exception of extreme weather. For boarding, a full refund is available if canceled 3 days before your pet’s stay. If canceled within 3 days of the stay, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 canceled days from the cancellation request date. A 100% refund is available for any additional days.
  • Is there a walk minimum per week?
    Nope! Once you are set up with us you are not locked into using us for any specific number of visits. We have clients who use us multiple times per day, as well as clients who call us once every few weeks.
  • Can I stop my service at any time?
    Yes, you are not locked into using us for any period of time. We want to ensure that you are satisfied with our services so if you were thinking of canceling due to an issue that has taken place call us at (905) 401-3021 or you can email us at info@mrmikesdoghouse.com.
  • Do you walk multiple dogs at a time?
    If you have more than one dog in your home we absolutely can walk them together but we do not walk dogs together as a group unless they are from the same home. We believe the individual attention we can give to your pets is important and we take pride in the attention we can give your pets while we are with them.
  • Are you available on holidays?
    Absolutely! We are available for services 24/7/365. During the holidays we book up quickly. There is an additional 50% charge for service on provincial, federal and civic holidays.
  • How do I pay?
    We try to keep things as simple as possible when it comes to paying for our services so you may currently pay using cash or e-transfer to info@mrmikesdoghouse.com
  • When do I pay?
    In order to book services with us we do require payment in advance. For services requested the day of you will be charged that day for services.
  • Are you first aid certified?
    Yes we are certified in pet first-aid and CPR by St. John Ambulance.
  • Can you take my dog to the dog park?
    Due to health and safety concerns for your pet we do not offer this service at this time.
  • Do you carry insurance?
    Yes, we are fully insured!
